Today we started the 'My Life Map' assignment where we are considering five of the most important events in our lives that have shaped us for who we are today. You will also be selecting one event that you will hope to happen in the future for yourself.
We also had the privilege of joining the senior grades in the gym to participate in the BC Post Secondary Schools fair. Your task was to talk to a minimum of two vendors while you were in the gym. Many people were successful in discussing and asking questions about what the universities and colleges had to offer. I have created a list of schools if you missed the fair.

Please review the attached resources for developing a cover letter. Please do not use a template for the cover letter portion of this assignment. Please use the template provided to you on this website. Remember that list of 30 skills you created, well here is another time you can pull from that list to create an awesome letter. I have attached a template and several examples of my own personal cover letters. Please ensure to make each your own, but feel free to borrow and steal from mine, your neighbour, and other ideas/skills you come across. Just get started today - we will build on the framework on Monday.
